My wife got me this little guy for my birthday and I think it's neat but I would like to try something else out with it.
So I had thinking of unbrading the trunk and then fanning them out like in the beautiful picture I drew ...
What do y'all think?

Any one work on these guys I could use some extra info on them ...
All I really know is they grow one new leader of pinched and I think they root easily. That's about all I know.

Thank you.

Welcome Back! Just so you know we had a 3 braided one that I unbraided. I kept one, gave one away, and the other one died. It gives them an interesting wiggle for certain :)

How are you anyways?

Edit: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPS wrong guy :p

I might add the time to separate them is Mid Summer here while growth outside is going strong. Here we do Sub and Sub Tropicals on the 4th of July weekend that need serious work. Some plants Crystal has had a LOT of years and it works out good.

Finally Unbranded this to day on my lunch brake.
Happy to see it had a few buds popping out of the out side trunks about half way on both , I think it will def look better with those helping to fill in the canopy.

It didn't seem like any of the trunks were fussing with each other, any one know if they will after some time?

If yes I may tape them all together at the very bottom and replant on a tile in the spring....

Going to have one of the future branches grow inwards ( the left out side trunk) and have the other ( out side right trunk) grow outwards.

Not sure if I should leave the middle trunks as they are?
