Twisted Pom

I bought this Pom from @bonhe the beginning of this year, after looking it over I knew where I wanted to take this beautiful tree, I got a custom made pot from sam Miller (not sure if he’s a part of this group?) Pot was delivered today and i got the Pom in it...this will be my thread for this Pom to keep track of its progress...repotted in a lava/pumice, calcined d.e, and bark mix, couple guy wires to bring the canopy down a bit

thank you all for looking, any comments or criticism is greatly appreciated, this is my first tree in a actual bonsai pot, I didn’t grow out the beautiful primary and secondary branches you see, that’s all @bonhe however I hope I can move it forward on the right path

I love these. Alas it would not be happy where I live though it would have liked the heat of Georgia where we lived before. I hope it does well for you!

You may put sphagnum moss on the top of the soil to keep the rootage cool during the summer. The pomegranate will be happy with that extra care ?
