Brought this little one with me to Florida for a head start and repot. Amazed at the root growth in such a short time. Put it into a nice little @sorce pot. Thanks brother. I have plans for the others too. Didn't notice the hidden mesg on it until the photos.

Hope it's big brother mulched under the bench at home in Ohio survived 7 degrees last week.
Had I been home, it and a few others would have went into the crawl space. Took a chance on this crazy mild winter staying mild while away.

It's been a weird winter, very cold in November, warm December a single 3 day cold spell in a weirdly warm January, and now looking like a "normal" cold February. I did more or less put everything into their normal winter locations, I just hope nothing wakes up too early, and gets hit by late freezes.

We will see.

Here it is again. Tx Ceder Elm with new spring growth. Survived a second Ohio winter.

The moss sure helps keep is wet in a little pot but, the roots grew into it.

I feel I need to cut the straight section off the top.

This one got a repot yesterday as it had filled the pot and should have been done last year. The way these grow I could almost do it twice a year. This was planted in some of the large DE I got from milehigh a few years back and it loved it.


I didn't take a final pic as it was raining and I was rushing.
The little brother went to Florida w/me and has been in leaf for over a month. I put it in a different Sorce pot just because it was deeper. This pic is from Feb when I repotted it. I'll get a better pic of both together soon.
