Ulmus Carrisfolia Cedar Elm from 1975

This elm was collected in Barlesville area of OK back in the fall of 1976. It initially was quite tall and cut. (you may be able to see the general are in the first few photos). As it developed it was ramified and potted in a selection of pots until the latest development in 2016: nearly total loss of the tree for some unknown cause. I topped off the trunk via Naka style for a future broom. Here it is this past November.

You can see the 'leader' as hopefully it will continue to grow and 'seal' in the side branches as I trim them back. Of course a new smaller pot which I will create for it from cone 08-CIMG4390.JPGMVC-032F.JPGMVC-008F.JPGulmus carassifolia1299.jpgCIMG4390.JPGIMG00273-20100404-1447.jpgIMG_0416.JPGIMG_0419a copy.jpgIMG_0424 copy.jpgIMG_042x copy.jpg09 high fire.
