Gifted to me. Nice potential. No real plans at moment.. maybe going to develop as a flat topped acacia styled tree with some flat pads. Will see.

Age: About 10yrs?
Training: Previous owner
Width: .81"
Height: 21"

Pot sucks. Needs a new pot.

They will bud (oppositely - look closely and you'll see a line of bumps from whence it will bud) just about anywhere between the tips of the branches and the root collar. They can often be air layered by simply wrapping a stem with moist sphagnum or paper towel even (just keep it damp - no tourniquet/girdle).

Not that you are required to, of course. ;)

Thanks for the basic info. I'll make a decision on the roots when I repot next year. If I require a root in a specific place, ill leave some sphagnum in that spot and hope for best!

Right now, just want to get it through winter.

Currently looking like it did last year. Going to cut it back low. Have some buds lower in the branches
