Happen to look down at work today to find a hap maple g the owing wild, looks to be a rough bark chance seedling, growing underneath a bridge, will dig in spring

Sometimes seedlings will exhibit variations in bark, in this case rough bark, I do believe it’s a chance seedling due to the others growing near by with smooth bark, I’m under a bridge in the middle of a city, which goes to show you never know where you might find material
