By the way, this plant did not exhibit variegation when I bought it, but it was end of year and leaves were pretty shabby. It is accepted that often variegation is due to a virus. I have a lot of variegated plants. Makes you wonder a bit.

Interesting! Never seen a variegated wisteria. I wonder if the flowers would display any sort of unique coloration.

I planted a wisteria “Amethyst Falls” out front of our house next to a column a couple years ago. It has exploded with vegetative growth but no flowers yet…maybe next year :)

First I have heard of it too. I'm sure there must be others.

Don't fertilize it and give it plenty of sun. Mine bloom like crazy. Even my one year old cuttings in gallon pots bloomed.
