Starting a specific thread to document this tree. I've posted it in other combination posts- please ignore. This tree has survived two years post collection, so I feel comfortable with logging ongoing styling. This thread will serve as an ongoing journal, as well as for input.

I love the subtle movement in this trunk, and will wire it this year. It should look good in 10-20 years.

I'll be repotting this tree into an Anderson flat in a few weeks, and pruning/wiring for an informal upright.

Nice. Which species of Viburnum is this? There are a few hundred to choose from. We don't often see Viburnum.
I believe this is Viburnum prunifolium, blackhaw. They’re native. I’ve collected a few, only lost one. Growth can be a bit tricky as buds like to form on the direct top of a branch, but the bark is great
