I've been to your Flicker Acct and viewed some of your Bonsai Trees......I love the way you are able to break with the Norm and work with the Unusual,,, especially the Deadwood and Trunk Aged examples.... you Inspire me.

I'm thinking about applying this technique to a Kousa Dogwood I chopped.

How low was the original chop? One concern I have for my tree is I should have cut higher. The tree is doing great though.

I still apply it. On every tree that you want to develop you can use the technique. I want ALL my trees to develop. The better is the enemy of the good.
