Viewing stone exhibit at the 2014 GSBF Convention.

One of my duties on this year's convention committee was to organize our viewing stone exhibit.
I was pleased and proud of the results. We had 52 stones exhibited with a good variety of styles, types and sizes and the exhibit was very well received by the convention attendees and visitors. We were honored to have Dr. Tom Elias, world renowned viewing stone expert and author in attendance. Dr. Elias gave a very informative critique of the exhibit and spent most of the time in the exhibit room talking to people about the stones.

We had stones from Northern and Southern California, Oregon and Washington as well as Chinese and Japanese stones.

Very impressive, I've been keeping my eyes peeled every time I go hiking in hopes of spotting a stone suitable for Suiseki but so far nothing has caught my eye.
