Hi! I'm new to this forum so I thought I'd introduce myself with a question about this juniper I have :) I'm a bit stuck on the styling of this tree. I recently bought it, but I have no idea what would be a good style... I'd be glad to hear what you all think!

The trunk curls up in a spiral shape. I think this kind of limits my possibilities... Any ideas? I thinned out the foliage becase it hadn't been pruned in a long time and the shoot were very long. Now it has started backbudding.

Maybe try to shape it so you see that curve as in the second pic.

Something like this may be a possibility? You might need to do some tilting/bending etc.

Or you could tilt it so the top of the curve is the highest point and go from there.
Lots of possibilities!

It's kinda hard to make sense of where things Are Going.

I'd be looking To get in here.aviary-image-1495591484001.jpeg

But an angle change may accentuate that curve better...and from Here, it looks like you may be able to Smash That curve down on itself too.

I think you have many options.
