Watching Hurricane Issac

Good luck Stacy. I've been through a few and it is uncomfortable to say the least(even if there is no direct hit).

I wish you well Stacy, I will be down there Sunday and Monday for the wake and burial of my Uncle so I hope it peters out in the gulf.

Don't forget the beer Stacy. Seems like those shelves at Publix are as empty as the flashlight aisle at Home Depot when a storm is getting close. So far, it seems like Isaac is drifting left, and the peninsula's lucky streak will stay intact. The panhandle and Alabama better get ready.

We're keeping our fingers crossed. I really hope we just get a lot of rain and some wind--but no hurricane!
Will be spending the weekend watching and waiting.

Yeah, parts of the southeast could really use the rain...just not the wind and storm surge. I know that's what I'm hoping for. Good luck you guys on the coast.

Best of Luck to all you folks in Fla. & on the Gulf. Be careful if you have had any saturating rains recently. Makes it more common to have a lot of trees come down. Yesterday we had 7.5 inches of rain in about six hours time, hope we don't see any big wind soon. Last year we had the "I" storm. Irene came through here as a Cat 1, lots of tree damage with her.

Good luck to all in his path.

Yes, Stacy, I was really hoping that it would stay to the east of us. Even a direct hit,
as long as it was cat 2 or less, would be better than the thing coming onshore in Mississippi.
We'll stay until we have to go, but we won't be on the island during the storm. The next
couple of days will be nerve racking.

Thanks for the prayers, y'all.

Libby
