Sometimes the weather can add excitement to growing bonsai.

Breaking high temperature records for 11 days in a row.

Its not political, just a fact, this is what global warming looks like.

Hang on to your hats, it will only get worse in the next few years.

The only thing you can do is move all your bonsai to full shade, and hope the weather breaks.

Climate change. At least get your terminology correct.

Climate change sounds so bland. … I prefer climate chaos.

Our forecast isn’t quite as harsh as yours this week (mid-90s to low 100s) but I’m still glad I finally got my drip system up. I only have a few plants in bonsai soil, so the area is pretty small. It still seems like it took forever and still needs some tweaks. I’ll still water, but since I work 8-6 they have to get through the hottest part before I get home.

We usually get this type of weather in fall, so I'm staring down the barrel of heatwaves and dry winds. 😬

Global Warming is the correct terminology. It is what is happening. Check the news about the weather in Oregon this last couple days? Climate Change is "diluted speak" so as not to offend willfully anti-science corporate lackeys.
