It snowed last week and today it is literally 70 degrees..this can't be good for dormant trees.
 
They'll probably live through it.
 
This year to date is the least rainfall ever since they started records (about 1860's) in San Francisco area. It's good we got hoses...
 
We went from below zero temps to the upper 50's in a week. Im hoping that the mulch is doing its job and regulating the fluctuating temps. We will see come spring. Nothing like colorado weather. :)
 
short term temperature swings above regular dormant temps wont really effect the trees. The amount of light has much to do with dormancy as well. If your trees are kept in the shade or no sunlight, dont sweat it.
