Last night I happened upon this link, and found two of my books for sale used, one for $270 something and one for around $160 if I recall correctly.

I hit the link again today, and, as of this moment when I'm posting it here, two sellers have used copies for $147.90 and $136.14, and one used copy for the normal, NEW retail price of $49.95, for which one can get a copy from Elandan signed by Dan, Vic and myself.

Kinda strange to think that people might think a used copy of this still-in-print work would be worth up to three times what it sells for new from Elandan! Get you a copy of the first printing of this soon-to-be-classic while you can still afford one! LOL!

Will are you sure you are still alive and kickin???:) maybe the value went up when you passed away. We'll miss you.

Haha, that's the story of the world. People figure if they jack up the price of a quality item that there will be someone dumb enough to believe it's the appropriate price (which some do). Ignorance wins again.

LOL!

It's either Mark Twain, "Rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated," or else Gene Hackman in The Unforgiven, "Hell, I even thought I was dead, until I realized I was just in Nebraska."

'Course, buying a book or three to help with my funeral expenses would be a thoughtful and much appreciated gesture.

How will you sign them when you're dead? Do you have a "ghost writer"??? heheeheeeee
Great book, everyone should have one anyway - even if you are still alive...

Ur not dead or in Nebraska (in case you were worried) ..... I was just at ur house .... still had good color and everything !!!!

Well, those cheap unde-pricers who had the book listed in the paltry $100s are no longer listed, but a "Used - Very Good" copy can now be had for $249.54.

They must not have heard I'm still alive!

Barry, maybe you should write a book now that you're dead, I've heard it's very profitable...

Yes, a new book off of recently discovered unused manuscripts. Hey Michael Crichton can do it so why cant you??
