Hi I’m badatusernames and I’m a potaholic

The pots are easily more dangerous for my wallet than the trees at this point
At our February club meeting we had several newcomers. One of them said his wife called him a "tree addict", and then 2 more said they had a "tree problem ". At that point a past president said, "This is beginning to sound like a 12-step meeting!"

Purchased a 112 Liter bag of perlite at pretty great price 39.99CAD , after having sifting through it, I think I'll get roughly 50% in ideal substrate additive.(52% to be more exact)

Cute little $18 azalea from Costco. Wife shouldn't let me go shopping alone.

Is there a Japanese word to express explaining to your spouse that you are going to spend $80 on a bag kanuma and a training pot for your cheap $18 Costco tree?

Japanese pruner. I need to make quick clean cuts on the branches of the trees that I collect. I will report how it does later.

Good craftsmanship. Super sharp. Cut is very clean. SK5 steel is decent for edge retention.

Hmmm.... I am trying to convince my lady that I need a ton of pumice that will cost a few shiny penny.

I bought an larch,
pity it’s got the shape of a tuning fork
Maybe it’s too hot here, can’t help it, they look so pretty every time I visit a mountain or some sort of temperate region
Let’s see how it goes

I like it. If it were mine I would chop the lower branch right at the first big side branch. Tuning fork shape solved.
