Are you out of more Urban Sao Paulo yet...?

I hear (as always) it's getting worse. :(

I just want good things, including safety, for you, my friend.

:)
Thanks @HorseloverFat
I am preparing myself for the move, later this year. Meanwhile we're stuck between two worlds, hellish São Paulo and heavenly São Roque, a mountainous region. But safe, don't worry.

Couple of new members of the family acquired over last few weekends... japanese maple and chinese elm.
Maple quite tortured after 2 months of lockdown here in Shanghai... dried and burnt but I liked the nebari... buried it for now... I know it's not the time to repot but taking proper care and hopefully will make it.
Chinese elm... hard to be in China and not have one. I'm sure my picture doesn't do justice to this tree... not a typical elm that we tend to see... very solid, nicely shaped trunk and in spring I'll see what is sitting under the moss. Quite advanced from development perspective but there is several flaws that will need to be worked. This one was properly taken care of... and will be ;)

He brought by some a couple weeks ago and he said he had some more didn't expect this many. I need to take him to lunch.
This qualifies your previous post as a bonsai purchase. I was just about to declare foul! :D

Bought 2 Larix from my Local nursery, I get those for super cheap, someof them looked really nice, ao I snatched them out of like 10000
Larix are one of my favourite Trees, because they are super flexibel even when big
I am not perfect when it comes to wireing, but honestly, I am doing better each time!

I picked up this inexpensive Chinese pot today from a local nursery. I had to drill the two drainage holes out larger and drill tiny holes in the back of the feet to keep water from sitting. I slip potted one of the maples I got from @rodeolthr in it. I’m happy with the pairing. It will get a proper repot this coming spring.9A0EE054-3620-447E-82B8-A91621BBBF26.jpeg

The main brach was also lifted towards the front for better viewing.

Sometimes, we can be lucky in the nursery. A couple of weeks ago, I found this benjamina kirki in a group of about 40 little sticks . Same pot, but while the sticks where all about 1 or 2 years old, this one seemed to me to be 5 or 6. As they sell them by the size of the pot, they were all labelled 3€ (less than 4$). I repotted , made a fast styling and took 4 cuttings... Good business (at least for me :p )

Very nice. It looks similar to one I have called Nina and even more like another I have called Nicole.
I root both of this rather frequently. They will drop most of their leaves but regrow them as they root.
