A 5 gallon Kishu Juniper with lots of low movement and potential and two 1 gallon San Jose Junipers that were too cheap to pass up. All three from today’s sale at Kimura in Los Angeles.

I've seen it recommended so often that I figured it would be a good resource to have. With the long winter approaching I'm going to need more reading material. I plan on getting more bonsai, horticulture and botany books. Study all winter and come at next growing season with a little more knowledge.

Welp... not bonsai related, but I bought this to tidy up the yard and the area around the fence. I have used push reel mowers for almost 4 years now, and a battery Sun Joe that I modified with rollers for 3 months and what a learning curve is with this one with a self propel system. Photo is not mine, I received mine yesterday and already did the initial test drive...

Unexpected windfall, so I checked out the clearance rack at Walmart.

I attended my first bonsai auction today through my local club. These were my Winnings.
green island ficus with wood stand- needs some work ( perhaps chopping the top) But good potential I think.
kingsville boxwood- red pot- love this tree!!
Japanese boxwood- brown pot- i think I need to chop one oh the handle bar branches but what one? Lol

I was going to say a cork oak and Seiju elm, but then I remembered the bag of Bonide Infuse granluar fungicide I got to try and cure my trident leaf problem.

Boxwood 'Morris midget' I like the tiny two trunks, I don't like the pot so much, but it was $25 so I bought it.
