Went to the supermarket today and unexpectedly bought this cheap grafted kumquat (fortunella margarita). I guess some vices and compulsive actions are difficult to tame...
. They do fine outdoors in my climate so I will let it grow (probably in my garden ground) and we will see what can I get from it....

Today, I found this japanese lantern in my nurserie (35€). I think it is iron and concrete. I loved it to give light in my nocturnal moments with my trees, so now I'm buying a solar lamp. Also it can be used as a place to show trees.......

I have been wanting to add a larch to my garden. This is a very humble little larch. But it will provide good opportunity to learn about the species. Maybe in a few years it will have a bit more potential.

I had been eyeing work by this girl for a few months now and finally ordered my self 3 prints and 2 packs of her postcards. Her nam is Erica Ward. From Cali but now resides in Tokyo. I sure wish I had an original, but these prints of an incredibly high printed quality. Nice heavy stock paper and an ink with dimension and texture. Her work is so incredibly detailed and is a lovely juxtaposition of bonsai as a historical context for Japan and all its traditions and the truly hustle and bustle nature of a modern Japan. All of these plus the cost to ship from Japan was 100usd.

Yeah, there are several in there that are just so cool. The gingko and the pine in the cup of noodles are other faves of mine.

Pretty amazing work really. shes also got what are called Zines (like as in magazine), with all of the prints in the pages. I almost pulled the trigger on an original, but the ones I would have liked an original of were not available. the originals were only like 375USD or so. 35000 yen. Which i think i converted correctly.

tough one to post after the last post of that artist from @Hartinez ; i ended up sharing her work with a coworker and my gf and her sister; amazing
i got this stuff recently, all set to get thru until late march/april now
instead of running foxfarm im mixing in this MG, i want to run some osmocote and hope itll make it a bit less hot
than rich foxfarm ocean themed potting soil for my organic ratio. this MG is highly reviewed and im out of local compost form last year
so im going with this stuff; i trust in the brand
will prob dump my oil dry (20%) in to the MG and perlite (each 40%)
for next season repots.
i am prepared to do quite a lot of maple air layers from new parents trees and 4 landscape trees on top of a dozen or so repot projects, will be a lot of work (moss and perlite for the air layers medium)
6" green pots and 9" trainers
