Nice beefy trunk.Towards the end of spring, I bought this acer palmatum labeled as “Bloodgood Maple” on sale in Home Depot’s garden section. I chopped about three feet off the top and cut back all the long branches. Gonna see if I can turn it into a bonsai one day!
