I know the feeling!
Last night I was thinking about this. I have a lot of pots that I have been collecting that I have no plans for except to enjoy them as pots. I get the twisted feeling sometimes that I need to get rid of some plants and buy some more pots. They are very low maintenance.
AS a potter I have always collected pottery that inspires me.

Two Iker pots are on their way to me. I will take pictures when they arrive.
I couldn't resist.... like a true pot head, I went right back and bought another one.
Just wanted a bigger one to, found an unglazed 11" that I liked.
Should arrive in a few days.

Ready for springtime! C'mon springtime!

I've been busy the last month or so, purchased my first korean hornbeam, coral bark japanese maple, and a katsura japanese maple. Also bought a couple spare pots.

I've just decided that I'm going to put my trees in the nicest pots I can find - they're a big part of the art, the hobby, so I'll put as much thought into them as the tree. Unfortunately, they can be $$ 😉

I see his stuff all over 99 cent bonsai on fb, haven't bought anything from him yet. They looks nice!
They really are. They are slightly thick-walled and thus heavy though. So not fine Japanese. But if you like them a bit rougher they are great!

:)

Here is one in action:

That a good move if you have the funds and plants that are worthy.

I gravitate towards glazed pots, but that one is really nice.
That did surprise me a little.
I dont know how he gets the color variations in the unglazed pots, but its quite nice.
It is done when metallic oxide wash, probably iron oxide.
