Imports cost more...but tend to be worth the upcharge fees.Hi guys, new here! Is this the thread where we shamefully post what we spend half our salaries on?
This sucker cost me, oh, 500 euros after customs and import taxes.

But it came with no pot, so of course, I had to order a pot for it (for 300 or so euros, shipping included)

Please someone tell me I'm not insane
Ooooooh...The Flying Dragon arrived... oh I set my calendar to work it in a month. (I do acclimate my trees...and practice what I preach.) Photos once guy wires and such applied to show before and after on a thread for it...

Emergency repot last night. Change of angle and vision. And to hoping that the broken trunk will budd out a little here and there. Bad moment for this maltreatment, as it had been repotted in winter, so had little roots already.

Sorted the damage out with the seller who can decide how to deal with the shipping compagny.
Wowzer! That's a lot of substrate! Here's my most recent Bonsai related purchases.
My Bonsai Jack substrates and Sumo Bonsai re-potting tools and cut paste orders arrived.
Thank you for the quick shipping!
This should help keep me be busy, for quite a while... LOL...
Havin' a BLAST!
LOL...Wowzer! That's a lot of substrate!
Gotcha...I don't really mix my own. I've tweaked stuff that came premixed. That's about it. I just don't want the hassle... I just sieve when I repot the tree I'm working on...at that time. I don't do many repots in a year.LOL...
Yea, I figured what the heck, might as well load-up.
Pumice, Lava, Monto Clay, Pine bark, Horticultural Charcoal.
Gonna be needing it for those 9 trees I dug-up at the Bonsai nursery, plus the one that was already re-potted.
Unfortunately, they're closing, so time was of the essence.
