What are these on my podocarpus

I first thought these are some candles or fruits but then searched the fruits which look more like berries.
Any idea what these are? Planning to repot this tree in coming couple days, any idea if I shouldn't repot while these are on the tree ?

They look like instruments of pollen...definitely not sure.

I have similar(not exact) “appendages” on my Taxus Hicksii, as well. Must be a Yew thing.. lol.

Someone will be able to fill us in soon, I’m sure

Is it ok to repot while these are there?

I am unfamiliar with your climate in Lebanon.
For me.. they have just started appearing/extending right now. Here it’s spring.. barely.... right on the waning “cusp” of the normal spring repot window, so I am curious as well..

I am unfamiliar with your climate in Lebanon.
For me.. they have just started appearing/extending right now. Here it’s spring.. barely.... right on the waning “cusp” of the normal spring repot window, so I am curious as well..
Spring as well here temp around15-20 degrees celsius. Is podocarpus best reported in early or late spring like other conifers?
