I found those little plants in one of my pomegranate plastic pots. They are about 3" height. No leaves seen! My sansei told me this plant is excellent for accent plant and he couldn't remember which name of this plant is !

The name of the plant is "Psilotum". It is one of the most primitive plants on earth. They are unique in that they have no roots, leaves, flowers, fruits, or seeds and are simply comprised of a stem.

Thanks a lot Sapman. How can I propagate it?

Welcome to BonsaiNut, Sapman! Nice first post!

This is very interesting, I have 2 small ones that just pop in one of my ficus bonsai. I re-potted it last summer in a mame pot and turface and its still alive. I will post a picture.

I always wondered what it was, how it got to my bonsai pot and how to cultivate it.
