Thanks, I think you're right, although this one is definitely green, but shaped like the one in your link.
It doesn't like pines but occurs in Georgia. So probably ended up on your plant in Georgia.
I saw the map in Cruisers link and am sure it was a local hitchhiker now.
When driving through the parts of the state we were in, I thought this must be the hot zone
or ground zero where they brought the kudzu vine over from Vietnam I think it was, to aid in erosion.
