What kind of tree is this

I found this tree in the woods like 2 months ago and I don’t know what it is. There are no other trees in my area that have leaves that look even remotely similar.If you guys happen to know what it is please tell me.

Seems to be black locust, but I’m not super familiar with my compound leaves trees.

Black locust. Not great bonsai material, particularly not in small sizes--compound leaves and long flower racemes make small tree look weird. not to mention the thorns...
