And RE: Serissa. I always thought these were in danger below 50 degrees? That would make it subtropical? learn something new everyday. Thanks for the info.

I'm pretty sure they grow in the landscape here in the Atlanta area...usda zone 7b.

Is Serissa a tropical?

NO it is NOT.

I swear we have serissa in the Philippines...very much tropical in my book so I say yes. It possibly can survive sub-tropical and temperate climates too though.
