What the heck with "This is not a contest tree" threads Popping up lately

Started to get annoyed by that. What the heck does that supposed to meant? Are you asking for advice or bragging how bad your tree is?

I agree - it'll be easier to keep track of the threads over the years, and there won't be thirty of us cluttering up the New to Bonsai forum every check-in phase.

Ahhh found it. I get the growing from seed being tagged. But in the past...we usually had everyone just post their tree in like here it is I'm in...
There seems to be many newbs joining that contest...that isn't a contest. I tend to peak in more with them...since it is in the new member forum. When I have time...it doesn't bother me where it is...I guess if relocated I would just go to the new area since all are kind of new at this...its fun seeing them participate.
