What to do with this gensing ficus

What should I do with this?

It had a cut wound a while back, but I don't know if I should style it.

Personally, I wouldn't use this particular tree as bonsai, it's not the best material. The tuberous roots make styling a big challenge. What did you use to seal that wound? Also, you may want to check for bugs, spider mites in particular.

I used vasaline.
Personally, I to feel like this isnt really the best sadly to say. Its survivng, not thriving.
Well, I'll let it keep growing, maybe something nice will happen
