What wine goes with a JWP “Nano”?

Here’s the tree:

A Japanese White Pine, “Nano”. Accompanied with a California Pinot Noir.



“Pino Noir” translates to “Black Pine”, so I think I’m definitely violating some rule here. A white wine would be better perchance? I wonder if @William N. Valavanis knows the correct protocol? I would hate to be in violation of the proper bonsai wine drinking ceremony!

I think it would have to be rice wine (i.e., a high quality cold sake).

btw, Hibiki goes with mume. Yamazaki 15 with a formal upright JBP.

Pinot noir is great with a cedar (and king salmon).

I doubt it’s own it’s own roots. It’s a named cultivar, which usually means it’s grafted. But, if it was, it’s really low, to the point I can’t tell. And when the graft is THAT good, it doesn’t matter! The nebari is great, by the way.

It was lady wired about two years ago. Some of the wire is just beginning to cut in. Most of it isn’t, yet. Trees usually thicken in the fall, so, it’s probably about time to remove the wire.

I’m not familiar with that show. Is she allergic to it or something?

Ive been using stevia extract as a sugar substitute in my coffee and tea for several years now. I’ve had no ill effects.
