What is that?

Found this recipe in Aussie so you know I prefer it!

Olive oil and salt, then basted every 15 minutes with a garlic butter and herb sauce.

Coulda made it more flavorful but the texture of the potato was like a mashed potato chip.

Amazing.

Certainly a wicked beginning point.

I'm trying @Carol 83 cheese next!

Local grocery has fantastic deal of 3 bone prime rib roast for $3.97/lb. I bought several and cut the ribs out then slice them to 1" thick steaks. The ribs I marinated in bulgogi sauce then seared well. Then I sauteed sweet onion and garlic and pile on top. The ribs were then cooked in instant pot for 40 minutes. They were oh so good served on a bed of jasmine rice with the aujus bbq sauce.

I can't sanction cooking prime rib in a crock pot!?!?:p:D:D:D:D:D
I wouldn't cook a prime rib roast in an instant pot either but those were like short ribs once the loin section were cut out to make rib-eye steaks. The instant pot was good for cooking just the ribs.

Cooked a 5 1/2 #'r for Christmas. On sale here as well, but double your cost. Did I mention it's really expensive to live up here?:oops:

I like to gnaw on the bone after roasting....drop un-couth remark at your leisure! ;) 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

Looks tasty!!!🥵 I'll eat roasted prime rib 'till I get the meat-sweats!!!
