Hello everyone. New to bonsai but, I have studied the hey out of it. Plus found a great PDF thing on here somewhere I'm gana print and read. Intermediate bonsai something or other. I have been to a couple of Bay Area shows, sat through their workshops and demos and finally felt comfortable enough to pick up three trees. Two in Sacramento and one little azalea for ten bucks Oakland. Anyways, when I bought the first two I know that one a a maple but the second I have no idea. (The ladies at the show took the ID sticks when I purchased the trees). It's getting new growth which I'm thankful for because it had started to get large dark spots on its leaves. Hit it with fungicide already. I want to know what kind of tree it is so I can make sure I'm taking good care of it er proper care. I did the bonsai empire id tree thing and I think it might be japenese beech? Maybe. Help.
