There is so much to know, and I'm not really interested in learning it all like a pro. I suppose I'm somewhere in the middle, but something dies every year, so I can't really claim any real serious expertise. I felt like a young man, like my thinking hadn't really changed very much, into my forties. Young people wouldn't understand that. I still haven't changed my thinking much from when I was young, but now I'm officially old. Looking back I still couldn't tell you when I was no longer young.
I'm still discovering new species and as it's been said before they all have their own requirements and every time I acquire a new one, the process starts all over again. I've been doing this for 20 years, but I know guys who have been doing this for 50 years. You can't really know it all, and probably can't really know very much unless you work towards that goal and that's not for me. I'm content to be in the middle of where I was and where I'm going, wherever that is.
