Thinking about chopping at 7” or 8”. What do you think?

Try cutting some notches in trunk and get some movement
I can do that but there is hardly any taper for about 8”. That is why I am thinking about chopping low then do some carving later.

I was thinking about cutting flat across at 8” then select a new apex then make an angle cut to 6”.

I like the height of this tree, I kind of would leave that top leader in front just like you have it and cut away others, and before summer starts pin that almost to the rim of pot in cascade to right of that beautiful nebari root, making it even more noticable.
Depends on if you need to fit in a box for shipping too, lol
