Where to get those wooden pots ?

It's not metallic copper but copper salts, that's completely different. It does prevent rotting because it's toxic to the fungi that would otherwise break the wood down.
Copper based horticultural sprays are also toxic, that's why they work.
It's not as toxic as arsenic but it's not harmless.
 
This thread got me thinking about a pot for aChinese Elm forest. It’s made from pallet wood & screwed together
