Having trouble finding a place to purchase pots.
I know ebay and ikers. Are there any other online stores?
Usually looking for glazed pots 3-8 inches.

Girl, you might try Cass Bonsai, across the river from St. Louis. I'll be going to Des Moines first week in August and save you shipping cost.

Try Erin Bonsai - www.erinbonsai.com. They are great guys with a fantastic selection of high quality stone-fired pots. Reasonable prices, and free shipping on five or more pots.

+1 on Erin pots. You can also check him on Facebook...he usually post the new pots there before they are listed in the online store. Nice way to have first dibs. ;)

Bonsai vision is my new favorite. Best quality to price ratio I have found. Great customer service as well. I also bought a pair of their stainless steel tools and they are pretty nice quality as well.

Dave Lowman in Kelley sells them; imports as well as his own. I buy quite a few from Japanese sellers on eBay.

Brian,

Would you mind sharing which sellers on Ebay you buy from? I've been watching the listings of a few but have been hesitant to buy since I'm not familiar with them and the typically long shipping times.

for what it's worth he's right.
it's a little strange to buy/sell anything through the group though.

Yes I've been to his place in Kelley. I bought a couple things.
I have shipped with dallas bonsai and always look at nebonsai.

I guess I'm too picky. I get something in my head and want that pot. Lol

I'm a pot snob. Lol

I will check out some of the other suggestions thanks.

Not a fan of esty, I don't know why.
I guess I love ikers pots and I know he would custom do one for reasonable fee.

I found a quote once that I loved and maybe it was on this site.

If you place a bonsai in a poorly made or ugly pot it will die from embarrassment.

Somthing like that.
Oh yeah I don't do facebook. I'm a cyber stalker- not a good look.

Picky is one thing...a good thing. Being a pot snob has a rather specific connotation, and some Iker pots are nice, but I don't think his pots generally fall into that category. Want to become a pot snob? Start here...

There's more, but this is a good list to start you down the snobbery path...

For some reason aikoudo jp is ridiculously expensive for shipping. Way more than any other Japanese seller. I tried reasoning with them but there's no budging
