Which mounting for my new scroll?

I will be creating a late Fall display with a nice conifer. I am mostly trying to convey that it is raining in a coastal forest of Northern California. Which mounting would be best?

Nice scroll. I'd say the first one. The second kind of minimizes the art. The first also allows more vertical room for the "rain" to fall.
