This is a jap white pine I found in a nursery this year, it was in a four inch pot, was soo root bound there was no soil left, needles were loosing there color and was close to death, upon asking I was told I could have it, it was late jan. So I immediately repotted n combed out the roots, by spring it regained its color n was doing much better, so I fed it well n did some approach grafts with some branches, this is what it looks like, grown from seed, 1inch trunk, 14" tall, maybe in fifteen yrs ill have something.Since this is a white pine n they are slower growing, when should I remove the pins n surveyers tape? Thanks
