Where can I get some japanese white pine seedlings? I can't seem to find any online.

I believe that most JWP are propagated by cutting and/or are grafted to Black pine rootstock. There are many different techniques and opinions on the practice. Check Brent Walston's site, I'm sure he has small ones for sale.

Are you looking for the species or a cultivar or just something cheap? Because Julian Adams (adamsbonsai.com) may have what you want. I got my 'zuisho' from him and I believe that he may have seedlings as well.....

Brent is sold out. I am looking for grafts onto jbp.[/QUOTE

Just be careful, it takes someone who knows what they are doing otherwise you will end up with a ugly tree with reverse taper or a graft that sticks out like a sore thumb.

Ciao,
Harry

Yes,Julian has air layers and seedlings,no grafts, but they are zuisho,a very nice short needled cultivator, good luck finding a good graft if Brents out,i dont know of anyone else in the states that does such a good job as Brent.
