'Wild For Bonsai' ABS collecting booklet.

There is a great booklet on collecting at the ABS from Andrew Smith of Golden Arrow Bonsai.
I'd say a must have for anyone just getting into collecting or needing some pointers for success, if your a seasoned collector it's pretty basic knowledge but still a great little read. It's mostly but not entirely on conifers. It does have a chapter on collecting deciduous but his vast experience is in conifers.

The resent "top three books'' thread and the ABS made me think a good time to post a long over due mention of it.

I have this as well, and I agree. I would highly recommend this booklet to anyone wanting to go collecting. This is probably the best starter guide I've seen on the subject of collecting (esp. native mountain pines and juni's)
