And we are out. ☹ threw this guy out this week. To much to fast I guess. Haha!
Also found my soil mix/pot combo was not nearly water retentive enough as I couldn’t keep it moist!

Aw, man. What were you using for soil mix?

Mine is mulched in outside and seems healthy... at least until I start messin' with it, when it may meet the same fate as yours.

I think keeping in in the basement under lights wasn’t great either.
I used #8822, lava, wood chips,
I have a feeling you have the right idea for overall health of the tree!

Yes, sorry to hear. Just remember to take it for the lesson that it was. Both good and bad, and how you would do it better, then it was well worth the investment.

Gave this one to my dad for xMas. Then he went to Mexico -he’ll b there for 2 months I guess. 😆 really doubt anyone is taking care of it.
Anyways one more photo as I last remember it.
Really like the outside branch swooping with this juniper. RIP
