This might be the explaination :
- The reason why he never want to give me the sales report and send me back the pots is that he had sold more than the 250 pots he could ship out, and he cannot pay me the money for whatever the reason. For this, I had been offering him my understanding and my help if he was in personal financial problem; but he never responded to my good will.
- The more reasonable reason why he pretends his goodwill and still insist to “help” me to sell the remaining stock is that he tries to set me up ！
Imaging if I agree on his proposal…I cleaned up his name announcing that our problem is solved as he requested…announce that people can continue to order by sending the payment directly to me and he will ship the order… But then he will not ship out (this is very very very possible !!!)… Ops ! .. Then next will be fully my responsibility…
I will be dumb like nut..and he will be laughing like hell…..

Robert what a shit situation this has been for you. I read the recent statements. If all electronic means of comunication was not avialable there was always snail mail. Although if need be I am sure I could find a way to get some info out even in Wills stated sad story.
I felt sure there was something fishy why he would not just send the pots back to you at your cost instead of this grand plan that states all to your benefit.
Being a newbee like Will I at first I enjoyed his fresh outlook and debating skill but soon found reading between the lines at what was not said, said the most.

There is insinuation he him self is out of Pocket yet he also states that what has been sold "I just barely got reimbursed" So why not just send the pots back at Roberts cost?
Because he will then be out of pocket for postage costs of the donated pots to AOB. Wow how inconsiderate of you Robert!
For something he was not keen on doing in the first place that has turned to crap any sane person would say here take the pots Robert, AOB these where donated to the site we need to cover costs of postage. I am sure any Bonsai Forum worth any thing would find a way to resolve an issue conected to a contest they ran. Or be a real prick and send all the pots back at Robert's cost and tell him to send out the pots he donated.
Yet Will wants to hold onto the pots because he insinuates he will have to pay postage costs of at least some of the 8 donated pots.
You are very right in being wary of getting dragged in deeper Robert. I would say send pots back at your cost and start from there.
I might even buy one of you if that happened just to help out this crappy situation.
