Hi,I am just wondering if anyone has controlled Japanese beetles with any of the basic insecticides you can find in Walmart or lowes.I was going to put up netting,but then I realized that I was going to put on some Ortho Bug B Gone anyway,and I bailed on the net.It sais' it kills them on contact.So do you just find dead beetles on your trees?This is my first year using an insecticide and am impressed so far.I sprayed it on my flowering quince and they just instantly started growing cause' it abolished the aphids on the tips.I am going to use it only when I have to.They are just starting to come out.I have a lush section of Coreana Hornbeams and some elm growing out in pots.
