July 2019. I was sure I wanted to keep the aerial roots even though it was not helping the taper.

March 2020. I cut the aerial roots off but didn’t take pictures. In March I chopped that low branch too.

November 21st 2020. The cutting from the big chop is the only one surviving. It produced syconia but hasn’t grown much. The syconia started changing colors and the branches started showing growth. Pulled the figs off, light prune and some wire. When the chop scars heal I will chop the apex again unless it pops some branches in the middle.

Took the wire off and gave it a hard prune. First time I've cut all the growing tips off in a long time. Hoping for some growth to sprout along the big scar, you never know.

Nice tree, looks great in that pot. I would tilt it more to the left to lessen the bar branches, has good potential.

Put a little wire on the root cutting about 6 weeks ago. It was cutting in already so I removed that today. Since it is a root cutting and I started it in that deep pot the plan is to make it an exposed root in the future.
