So I took this cutting of a willow (salix cinerea) last summer...
Pretty bland material to work with, but still I decided to make a raft out of it. Today I removed all the dead wood, choose some new trunks and wire them.
Stumbled upon a pretty nasty surprise along the way...
The result for now...
I messed up the stump in the front, cut away to much wood...
I'm probably going to let it grow for another year and then cut it back.
