This is my first blueberry. Is it normal to have the buds swell up like this during the winter?
When do they usually bloom flowers?

Flower buds at tips of branches grow over winter, they look like they swell. This is normal. Leaf buds remain small.

I wonder if theres any small figurines that look like they're walking through wind so it can really sell the windswept effect lol

The terminal bud of every branch can become a flower bud if blueberry is healthy. Sometimes neighboring buds to the terminal will also become flower buds.

There used to be a member who made his own figurines and accessories, Jun. He has a kite with its string tangled in a tree, it was a real creative piece of art. The kite is blowing in the wind and the tree is windswept. It has been near a decade since he posted here.

A little wire, toothpicks, and paper and you could make a passible kite

But I know what my issue was...
