VAFisher
Masterpiece
I bought this tree in 2016 or 2017 from @Eric Group who was selling it on behalf of @johng. This is the 1st pic I took of it in 2017.
Thanks! I'm going to have to cut the canopy back hard to get more taper and movement in the branches. But it's coming along.Fantastic progress!
Pretty tree. It looks like a shohin, but you probably would have said so if it was.
It looks like it has developed good ramification thus far. I know it's still very young.
How does cutting the canopy hard give more taper/movement in the branches?
Thanks! That's a Sara Rayner pot. I absolutely love her potsThank you.
Who made the last pot please? It's a great pairing!
Beautiful tree!
I like them quite a bit. They seem to develop fast, get nice and twiggy and the leaves reduce very well. I think it's a very underrated native species.Nice progression. Thanks for sharing. I plan on digging some from my area early spring 2023
