Wire War

Well, I will wire any time between January and December, and that wire may stay on for 3-4 weeks and on up to 3-4 years... the timing and frequency between wiring is both species dependent and the stage of development of the given tree ;) .

PERFECT!!!!!

When you know how to properly anneal it and 1/3 longer than what you are wiring.

Sorce

On new shoots, the length is dependent on the when.

It depends on the species, etc.

It seems you don't know much about bonsai. You can learn a few things from the web, this forum or French forums, but believe me, you will learn in one year more than what you fumbled with in ten years if you meet people 'in the real world".

Contact a local club :

Oh, I almost forgot to ask @NorwaySpruce ... do you need help filling out your profile? I've been very close to where you say you're located many, many times over the years and I can tell you with 100% certainty that no bonsai will survive there.

the tree you plan to wire

Very good suggestion.

Maybe wiring won't be the first step to take with "this tree".

Thinking about a thread like "Why wire ?. Can't cut instead ?..."

Or :
- When wire, why, what with ?
- Wow! Where am I ?
Am I wired ?
Ain't I wild ?

When and why wire ? WHYYYYYYY.... Ay ay ay ay ! - ... are the Simms Bro. available ? 😄
...

Those are the questions... 💀

When and how long for wire ?
get a tree too work on or book to work yer mind into, park in the metal recycling place parking lot, get to work, wait as long as it takes for someone to pull up with a tub or buckets of coiled copper wire (seen it), make offer higher than the center, test for pliability, if it’s not easy flexing 💪🏽 light it up to deep red and drop into bucket of water

At my local recycling plant they have the coils laid out in sizes, pay per weight at the current copper price (last time it was 18 euros / kg). But you have to bring your own cutters.
They have this system where they store everything still usable for consumers and companies. It's like an organized dumpster dive.
I love that place.
