You know that spring has finally arrived when the wisteria come to call.

Jim my have beat me to the draw by posting the first wisteria blooms of the year. But, I think I can claim top billing for the most blooms so far.

Below are a few photos of a couple of my wisteria.

These photos were taken yesterday evening.

As always, your feedback is appreciated.

Regards,
Paul

mcpesq817,

Thanks for the positive feedback.

The purple one was collected in 1988.

The white one was a started from a cutting I got in 1994. It was grown in the ground until 2005, at which time it was dug up and started it's training as a bonsai.

Here is what they looked like this afternoon when I got home.

Regards,
Paul

absolutely beutiful certainly brightened up my day. Still waiting for spring to arrive here in the northern wastelands. My cherry blossoms are just starting to swell.

Thanks Jim, your feedback is always appreciated.

I like your second wisteria very much. However, the pot does not compliment it very well. Thanks for sharing.

Paul

Eric,

Thank you for the compliment.

What is it about the white wisteria that you find more appealing?

Here's one more for you.

Took the photo this morning.

My apologies on the crummy background.

But this one is a bit of a chore to move around on my own and too large to get into my workshop.

Nonetheless, I am planning on a new pot for this wisteria.

I would love to hear your ideas.

Regards,
Paul
