Found these at Walmart for Christmas. . There about 1 1/2' tall
And the trunks 1 to 2" thick..
Any thought if it would be worth grabbing one for $10 to work with to keep as a smaller tree?

I killed 2 last year, too Much cutting.

I'd try to wire EVERY branch, good practice, the tree will live!

IMO, save your money and buy better stock rather than buy lots of cheap untrained stock.

Yeah. You are supposed to be on the farm tagging trees to dig in spring!

Not buying this!
But since you did.

Ryan, I took my Ficus out yesterday, and sprayed their asses with a strong bottle jet and some ass oil spray. Nuke town!
Get r done!

Here's the hearsay: the branches don't set with wiring. Once the wire is off the branches spring back up. I've heard of people slicing strips into the branches before wiring so that the wound healing sets the branch, but I haven't seen actual results from it. So I have avoided them. I'd save the ten bucks and spend it on a chinese juniper.

I agree with the others. They dont seem to make good bonsai.
I also agree with the save your money and get better material comments.
Every time I see a tree that I start thinking about buying and then turn down, I put the money away towards something better.
My goal at this point is to trim down and upgrade my collection to fewer, better trees.

Ass oil is what I spray my trees with.shopping.jpeg

But that's a whole nother oooh that smell thread.

Snake oil, as I follow, is similar to this, but doesn't work.
Its the shit I call a reverse placebo cuz it makes you think everything will be good, and you slack, and everything dies.

In my definition. .....
Rooting powder.....
Superthrive. ......
And any stuff in that green turkey baster dispenser called fertilizer. ....
Also fit into the category.

As do charms, spells, hammering trunks, slicing trunk, wishing, and darn right hoping.
(It also comes in the form of books from the 50' s!) HA

However, ass oil, is highly effective, safe as it reads, and is a wonderful balance of....imagine a dead peppermint Pattie,,if cartoons smelled, covered in garlic, and shat from the anus of a omnivorous medium sized dinosaur.
Plus fish! × wood stove = holy Hell!

Now, as far as where I get it.
I don't know if we mean, the funny, or the product. But at this point it doesn't even matter does it!

Nwaite, you kill me!

Number of under a paragraph Smoke posts I fully understand. ...2, this isn't one!
